Unlike mainstream counselling, I utilise somatic practices to deepen the therapeutic process. This includes mindfulness, body awareness, meditation, breathing techniques, movement and therapeutic touch.
Therapeutic touch or any other physical contact will only be used with your explicit permission. You have the right to withdraw that permission at any time and your decision will be fully respected without any conditions.

Being a 6 year practicing insight meditator as well as a qualified mindfulness & compassionate trainer brings a unique element of calm & compassion to the healing space.

In 1 hour sessions we cultivate a mindful space to uncover your hidden patterns and behaviors and bring them into conscious awareness. Then with newfound insights and experiences, we usher in transformation, allowing your core beliefs to shift and evolve.

Our life experiences have created conditioning and beliefs that we hold about both ourselves and the world around us. This shapes the way we respond to the world. We organise ourselves around those beliefs and they can be holding us back..
Somatic Psychotherapy helps a person re-organise themselves as these beliefs can be limiting them in their relationships, work life. It can be holding them back from their natural ability to be truly happy and connect with other and the world around them.
I therefore encourage a clients self study and self discovery, to allow the organic, essential self to emerge, one of compassion and caring, who's calm, creative with confidence, who's courageous and deeply connected.
